Brewery Equipment Refurbishment Ltd
We start by obtaining a sample of the unit to be refurbished. Our customer usually chooses the most damaged example of a countermount that has been returned from trade and quite rightly, expects the unit to be returned in an "as new" condition, and to the correct specifications.
We start by obtaining a sample of the unit to be refurbished, our customer, usually chooses the most damaged sample of a countermount that has been returned from trade, so that we are presented with the "worst case scenario".
This sample is completely dismantled in our Work's so that all the components and the processes to which they need to be subjected are assessed. Where items are missing or damaged beyond repair, it will be determined whether they can be sourced from the O.E.M. or need to be fabricated by us.
Experience has shown that any batch of damaged countermounts can contain units that are beyond repair. This will become apparent to us when the goods are received and subjected to our standard full inspection. Out practice is to advise our customers immediately of this situation, so that they know from the onset, how many refurbished units will untimely be returned to their stock. We always make every effort to re-use components from these "beyond repair" items inorder to minimise wastage of materials.
Equally it can happen that we receive some virtually new countermounts with only minor faults such as a blown bulb. In these circumstances it is our firm policy to replace the bulb, clean the unit and return to our customer with no extra charge. We will not try to claim for work we have not done.
If we find any unanticipated problems in the refurbishment process, we always liase immediately with the customer and obtain their permission before incurring any expense that is not clearly identified on our original quotation. Where we have incurred extra costs in purchasing items needed to restore the unit, these will be itemised on the invoices. Thus, we can insure that there are no hidden surprises.
When undertaking a new unit we will produce a specification sheet which will detail all stages of the processes the unit will be put through, this document will not only form the basis for the remanufacturing process but will be a guarantee that all units will be subjected to this process to achieve our customers required standards.
